Growth Forged by Tenacity, Leading the Product — Head of Product

Hello! Please introduce yourself briefly.

Hello, I'm Noeun Park, Head of Product at DelightRoom. At work, I go by the nickname Jane. I joined DelightRoom around June 2024, so it's already been almost two years since I came on board!

What kind of experience did you have before joining DelightRoom?

I've been in charge of planning, building, and operating services across both B2C and B2B platforms. I think I ran without getting tired, fueled by the joy of knowing that the services I managed were contributing to changing the world's culture!

I first stepped into the IT industry as a product planner for a social dating service called I-um. Later, I built a business communication tool called Agit at Kakao, and then created a workplace chat tool called Kakao Work at Kakao Enterprise. After spending a full 10 years just at Kakao, I made a fresh start here at DelightRoom.

What do you do at DelightRoom?

When I first joined DelightRoom, I took charge of the Core squad. I defined the ringing metric, which can be seen as the stability standard for Alarmy, and carried out basic user experience revamp tasks.

Currently, as Head of Product, I oversee both the technical aspects that make Alarmy operate more stably and the diverse morning experiences that help our users start their mornings joyfully. I also play a leadership role by listening to the challenges faced by Delighters in the PO, UPO (User & Product Operation), and Design groups, solving problems, and helping them reach their destinations faster.

Could you share an experience where you felt you grew the most at DelightRoom?

What stands out in my memory is having my best success experience as a PO, where I tenaciously dug into a feature I had planned and achieved more than our goal.

At the end of '25, as the Core squad lead, I participated in creating a new mission called 'Find My Things at Home'. Through a process we call 'producting' at DelightRoom, the marketing group and makers exchanged meticulous feedback, and we built an item that we could confidently present ourselves.

Even after launch, by rapidly supplementing and improving the product through data analysis, we grew it into an item that contributed to both user acquisition and retention.

Chan wrote a blog post vividly capturing that experience, so if you're curious, give it a read!

Please feel free to brag about our company as much as you want!

First of all, the best perk is the colleagues! I think DelightRoom's talent density is higher than any other team I've worked with. In my second week, during a 1-on-1 with Jay, I even marveled, "How did you gather only such great people? Is DelightRoom Jay's jewelry box?!"

Thanks to Delighters with diverse talents and charms, there are so many new things I learn and realize even within this fast-changing industry. Our Delighters are the best colleagues—they are smart yet humble, and behind their rational, logically sound communication, they hold a sense of emotion and romance.

Hmm... There are so many other things to brag about, but if I had to pick just one more, it would be the immersive focus to tenaciously challenge ourselves to achieve our goals! I think the core reason Alarmy, DARO, and the DelightHub squad can hit high targets and growth rates every year is this tenacity and focus.

We also share the lessons learned in that process through town halls and quarterly workshops, defining our own success formula. Because of that, the fact that the company's growth directly links to my own growth is really appealing!
